Each ALERT AM Emergency Advisory Radio Station operates from a fixed location with a 3-5-mile radius range. ALERT AM Stations include network program management. National Weather Service warnings that interrupt programming automatically. ALERT AM systems also include an uninterruptible power supply and an audio processor for maximum range and intelligibility. Options include redundant USB-based audio management, live mic and live feed program capabilities, 4-day operational backup. Our StreamCASTing option allows programming to be simulcast to the Internet and can include Alexa advisories. Flashing ALERT Signs may be added to advise motorists of message urgency. ALERT AM Stations are modular and may be upgraded at any time.

The VoiceStar Systems are trailer-mounted, easy-start, licensed AM radio stations with full-sized changeable message signs. Customizable, VoiceStar is solar/AC powered. Both visual and radio messages are managed via wireless means or locally. Available with and without Changeable Message Signs. VoiceStar Systems may operate from a fixed location when not needed in the field. Stations are often integrated into a system of several units to instantly notify the public at highway construction zones, traffic incidents and in health and safety emergencies. They are built to operate for extended periods in isolated locations. Coverage radius: 3-5 miles.

The Information Station is streamlined for general fixed-location applications. Versions include “Information Station - IP” – operable via any network and/or a front panel control and the “Information Station - USB” – operable locally by flash drive. Each station has a range of 3-5 miles (25-75 square miles of coverage). Options include combined USB and network-based audio control, simulcast streaming to the internet, signage to encourage motorists to tune in, wireless control, UPS backup, outdoor electronics enclosure. Licensing and installation services are available.
Flashing ALERT Sign
Wireless-controlled, solar-powered beacon signs may be triggered remotely to advise motorists to tune to a special radio signal for information or to take a specific action in any public safety situation. For roads with speed limits less than 55 MPH. Custom sign panel with embedded beacons is included.
FASTrack Quick-Erect Sign
FHWA / NFPA-approved for use at emergency scenes, FASTrack signs are portable and quick to assemble. The sign and stand stow together as a unit. FASTrack signs come with custom sign text and optional text overlays.   


Stealth Black-Out LED Sign

Information Radio Station is a generic term synonymous with Travelers Information Station (TIS), Highway Advisory Radio (HAR) / Highway Information Systems & Low Power Radio Stations (LPR). Operation of the stations is governed by FCC Part 90.242 Rules. A FCC license is required. Information Radio Stations may be fixed or portable. Subcomponents may include transmitter, antenna and ground system, digital voice player, wattmeter, cabinet with conventional or Corbin locks, lightning arrestors for RF, power and telephone lines, coaxial cable. Most stations employ black maximized antennas to discourage ice accumulation and security measures to prevent unauthorized program access. Options include synchronization, battery backup, solar power, remote programming by local, network or telco, multi-station audio distribution via RF or LAN / WAN or wireless network.
